Hind, a four year old French girl, shows signs of disturbed personality at school, misdiagnosed as autism. Her family, Assaf (the father) and Lina (the mother), Israeli - French and ethnically Druze, believe Hind is the reincarnated soul of a life ended by murder. On the recommendation of Hind’s school, the French Social Services decide to take Hind away; reports say she has been showing s signs of PTSD and her family are very suspicious. With an inside tip Assaf and Lina get a head start and the family escapes from France to Israel. Investigation within the Druze community leads Hind’s family to Hayat, a woman whose murder matches Hind’s story. But Hayat’s life was complicated with rumors and darkness, and Hind’s life is no less dramatic. Tension grows and positions polarize before the truth is revealed.
