Synopsis

In 1990s Algeria, Nedjma is an outgoing
18-year-old with a passion for fashion design.
She refuses to let the tragic events of the
Algerian Civil War keep her from experiencing
a normal teenage life. While the social climate
grows more conservative, Nedjma rejects
the new bans set by radicals, and plans for a
fashion show.
