A loveless, jobless filmmaker in LA becomes enchanted by a luscious new muse and finds herself in a lesbian-love-triangle, making an all-female adaptation of "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" and facing her deepest fears.

The day after her 40th birthday, a filmmaker who sacrificed her love life for her film career realizes she has neither, and decides to get them both by casting her object of desire in an all-female adaptation of, "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?"

Synopsis

In this eccentric all-female romantic comedy, charismatic filmmaker Anna faces a midlife crisis. She has neither job nor girlfriend, and lives in her friend’s garage in Los Angeles. Just when she’s about to throw in the towel, she meets Katia (Janina Gavankar, “The L Word,” “True Blood”) who becomes her muse inspiring her to write and direct an all-female remake of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? Surrounded by beautiful women including, Guinevere Turner (GO FISH, L Word) in a tour-de-force performance, Carrie Preston (“True Blood,” “The Good Wife”), and gorgeous ingenue, Agnes Olech as her smitten cinematographer, Anna allows her deepest fears and internalized lesbophobia destroy everything but finally gets to the bottom of what is truly stopping her from love and life.

VAGINA WOLF also stars Guinevere Turner (GO FISH) in a tour-de-force performance, Carrie Preston (“True Blood,” “The Good Wife”), and Drew Droege (online sensation 'Chloe Sevigny').
