Bia is a brilliant, ambitious neuroscientist determined to find an effective treatment for alcoholism. Lucas, her 15-year-old son, is resentful of his mother’s dedication to her work and is passing through a rebellious phase. After receiving an invitation to head a laboratory in Germany, Bia finds herself in a dilemma: convince her son to go with her or give up a great professional opportunity.
