A family of refugees on the rooftops of Beirut make their living by dressing up like Lebanese socialites, attending bourgeois weddings, and robbing everyone blind. But when middle sister and ringleader Kawkab discovers some incriminating photographs, they threaten to tear the family apart. The film questions how a family of outsiders could fit into a society that keeps telling them: “You may look like us, you may sound like us, but you’ll never be one of us. You are other people.”
