Liborio is a peasant who disappears in a hurricane and returns as a prophet, people follow him and isolate themselves in the mountains seeking total freedom, until the country is invaded by the US Marines.

Liborio is lost in a hurricane, he enters a cave for shelter until sounds of galloping horses from the dark caves show him the light. He disappears. Considered dead, he is found and says he's been given a mission: bring the good and take away the evil. Many begin to congregate on his side, until confronted by the 1920 US Marine invasion. He is finally cornered and killed. Many believe he's still alive.
