Elisa lives alone with her mother Jeanne, in a small and rustic village of the French Alps. The young girl suffers from her mother's absences and resents her for working at night in the big city and sleeping during the day. Elisa tries to escape her loneliness with a wolf puppet which she always wears at her right arm. Elisa feels protected with her cotton wolf and likes to talk to him. But one day Elisa hears at the radio that real wolfs escaped from a Natural reserve of the region. She tells her mother Jeanne that the wolf pack is coming to take her during the night...
