In 1960 Israeli intelligence organization Mossad tracks down Adolf Eichmann, a man personally responsible for the Holocaust. Despite an order prohibiting anyone to talk to Eichmann, secret agent Peter Malkin starts asking questions when he and Eichmann are left alone. Malkin wants to understand how a man who doesn’t look like a devil wearing human flesh could organize such a massacre and tries to learn the nature of evil and its roots in this particular person.
