Synopsis

FLAMES OF LOVE is a family oriented inspiring film for all families to watch, enjoy, and be healed at the same time. A powerful story of four families whose lives are all interwoven and connected, this film is an enriching, enlightening and entertaining drama.
Despair, hate, hurt, lust, passion, anger engulf the hearts and minds of the characters in Flames of Love impressively portrayed by Christopher de Leon, Dina Bonnevie, Lani Mercado, Ricky Davao, Jaclyn Jose, Allen Dizon, Alvin Anson, Rina Reyes, Mav Lozano, Megan Young and Valerie Concepcion. Flames of Love marks the return of family drama on the big screen, of laughter and tears, imparting valuable lesson and message in life and love.
FLAMES OF LOVE depicts the ugliness and the consequences of sin. The movie shows the "rawness of the characters” played by talented seasoned stars of yesterday and today. It centers on the harsh realities, painful trials, and the challenges of family life and how these chaotic families are able to transform their own lives, through the healing power of faith.
FLAMES OF LOVE deals with family breakdown and marital meltdown. Easily relatable to families, the story reveals a realistic narrative of how parents and children of today face up to their struggles, their frustrations and their pains. It focuses on various forms of addictions and how these heavy challenges are overcome. The fiery exchange of verbal bouts filled with highly emotionally charged biting words engages the audience to react and to be totally immersed in the characters of the film. The performances of the actors are brilliant and exceptionally true to life.
The film is so timely for students and parents who are faced with seemingly insurmountable professional, family and personal crisis to be inspired to never give up easily on their lives, but to open themselves to a realization to trust in the power of faith and to find strength to persevere in their daily struggles.  This Christian film tells of a gripping story of how families are able to forgive one another, despite their woundedness and deep hurt.

This FILM was CITED by the Catholic Mass Media Awards for BEST PICTURE selected by Students all over the Philippines in 2013.
