A young woman dispenses the ultimate treatment to her mother’s lifeless body. An old woman, a babouhcka, as Russians say, is by her side. Both wash the body and attire it. The young woman fumbles her way along while the eldest peacefully carries the ceremony out. They care for the body and cradle it. They console themselves with this last goodbye.
