ELOÍNA
Eloína is a humble woman in her late 30's, working as a cleaning lady at a law-firm. Eloína's life is filled with all sorts of problems. Her salary is barely enough to take care of her little boy Marco, and that is the reason why she refuses the constant advances of Marcial, the law-firm's watchman. Just when nothing is expected to change in her life, she makes an unexpected finding in the law-firm's restroom that could change her life forever.
ROSARIO
She travels for the first time to the city of Caracas with her grandmother thinking this just might be a temporary trip and oblivious to the destiny ahead of her. As time went by, and after the death of her grandmother, Rosario finds herself increasingly trapped in the city, further away from her hometown and her plans, and gets seriously ill. Rosario always had the dream of getting married and only through her letters she is able to keep alive her dream of returning to her native Guasdualito and see Eulogio again - her childhood sweetheart - and the rest of her loved ones. Already very ill, weak and poor, Rosario is forced to leave behind the few things she has and surrenders to her luck and loneliness. She only keeps one thing: her grandmother's wedding dress.
GREGORIA
Gregoria lives in an old house in a little town. She's a mature woman that everyday looks after the well-being of her three children: Margarita, a teenager; Ana, a seven year old girl; and Aníbal, a little boy that can barely walk. The father of the family is always absent, which generates a lot of conflicts between Margarita and her mother. One night, amidst a heated argument between mother and daughter, there's a blackout. When the family goes to solve the electrical problem, they realize they are not the only ones living in that house. This discovery would change the lives of Gregoria and her family.
