Based on the book Bepo: a secret life of a linyera, by Hugo Nario, the film narrates the experiences of a legendary "croto": José Américo "Bepo" Ghezzi. Located in 1935, it proposes a philosophical trip towards a world of "linyeras" and anarchists, who lived freely traveling in freight trains.

Based on Hugo Nario’s bookBepo: vida secreta de un linyera, and shot in twelve locations in the Buenos Aires province, the film captures a time when anarchist ideas that came in through European immigrants shook the basis of the political, economical, and social order. An order that oppressed workers and forced thousands to a constant homeless life of pursuing hard jobs that would give them a meal or a place to spend their nights in peace, away from police persecution and the demonization they were victims of—but also away from home and their memories.
