"The Charmer” is an intense psychological drama about Esmail, a young Iranian man who is desperately looking to meet women who can secure his stay in Denmark. As time is running out he falls in love with one woman as another woman’s husband sets out for revenge.

The Charmer follows Esmail, an Iranian refugee in Denmark, who has been denied a residence permit. In a last desperate attempt to stay in the country Esmail tries to seduce Danish women into marrying him. The women are attracted to Esmail and his exotic looks, and he is slowly losing track of himself while pretending to be someone else.Esmails’ life drastically changes when he meets Sara, a young Iranian woman, who sees right through him and his plans of marriage...
