No girlfriend, no job, no home…Valentin has lost everything, except his dark sense of humour. The young man is squatting in his uncle’s empty apartment in a chic district of Paris. Hélène, a strong, independent young woman, is living with her son Jeremy in the apartment next door. She’s a successful writer denouncing social inequality and prejudices. But reality may not lie in books. Both Helene and Valentin will have to see beyond the appearances, as they might have more in common than just a doorstep. Humour and tenderness mingle in this bittersweet romantic comedy.
