'The Domain of the Senses' is a film consisting of five narratives relating to the senses.Direted by five young female directors, each describes the sensual world of the senses. The five senses serve as the thread that connects the different thematic genres: 'Sight' is a suspenseful urban drama with a surprise ending; 'Taste' is a passionate tragedy set un the country, with man serving as instigador of woman, whose protagonism is unquestionable. It is also the unquestionable protagonist, Iris, who explains her sexual education in a vital, yet matter of fact way in 'Smell'. When 'Hearing' overcomes the external sounds of the enviroment, is when it becomes our most sensitives sense, able to hear the signs, caresses and kisses of love. 'Touch' narrates, with profund insight, the process of identification two women undergo, united by artistic expression.
