The film is composed of three novels, related by main characters, feelings and atmosphere, and is dedicated to the theme of love. The complex and contradictory relations between Frederic Chopin and George Sand are interlaced with the love story of our contemporaries - Polina and Valentin; the second novel tells the story about Stepan's romantic love, which he lost because of his cowardice, but he retained it in his heart for many years; The third one is about the unrequited love of the musician Mark, for which he is ready to give up on his talent.
The film is saturated with the music of the great Chopin and of Russian composer Evgeny Doga, creating a romantic and poetic atmosphere. The stories of love are told on the background of the beautiful scenery of the Spanish Mallorca, the picturesque mountains of the south of Russia and the magical Moscow`s winter.
The film tells about love in different time dimensions. Fulled with high music and feelings of heroes, it should awake the spectator's lively emotional response, moving him to a positive perception of the world.
