Two strangers, Lucas and Cleo, meet on the internet. Over time, they form a 'special pack', agreeing to meet at an English seaside village and carry out an horrific deed. On the way to the rendevous, each meets a variety of strangers affecting what is to transpire at the conclusion of the story. Andre Gide once said: "The wise man is astonished by everything." FOLIE A DEUX is ultimately about just that: everything that can pass between two people, especially in what is not said; astonishment at being in the world at all; and the circumstances of our inevitable leaving of it.
