The film tells the story of a 35 year old veteran, married, with three children; and how difficult it is for war veterans to integrate into modern Croatian society. He joined the Croatian Army at the very beginning of the war and was not discharged until the very end. He is now unemployed and living in Zagreb. Very few people understand or care about the cause of many illnesses associate with soldiers who physically survived the war but ended up with deep-seated psychological scars.
