We come into Kristofers life as he is working as a security guard, after having done some time in jail for smuggling alcohol while working on a ship. Kristofer is struggling to support his family and gets the opportunity to do one last tour on a freighter between Reykjavik and Rotterdam. While glad to rejoin his old mates on the ship, Kristofer finds out that some are not worthy of his trust.
