Expecting her first baby, Emma learns she has breast cancer. Her doctor advises an abortion, saying the necessary treatment is incompatible with pregnancy. Her lover, Simon, urges her to see another specialist, Dr. Morin, who says the treatment is possible during her pregnancy. Emma regains confidence.
