When a violent hurricane traps a crew aboard an oilrig they are forced to ride out the storm. Surrounded by nothing but high-speed winds and raging waters, their communication is severed off. Unbeknownst to them their deep sea drilling has disturbed something very deadly. As the crew begin to disappear, they discover that they are being hunted by a vicious creature they must all try to survive.
