At the age of 91 Kevin Roche still works as an architect continually adding to his already prolific output. He won the Pritzker Prize in 1982 following acclaimed constructions such as the Ford Foundation in New York, Oakland Museum of Art, California and Master Plans for The Met in New York. He was an early pioneer of environmentally sustainable building with much of his recent work winning awards for this, including the Grupo Santander HQ in Madrid, the Layfayette Tower in Washington DC and the Convention Centre in Dublin.
