The 28-year-old Sven lives in a nursing home for several years. He suffers from muscular dystrophy and knows that he will die soon. As Sven’s helplessness increases, he gets a personal civil service. Christoph is full of enthusiasm and cherishes the desire to help sick people. Although Sven cannot move unaided, he has created a microcosm in the nursing home, which he directs with confidence. Christoph cannot do anything for him and Sven’s humor is strange and threatening in a way for Christoph. Over time, however, Christoph is influenced by Sven’s charm and a genuine friendship is formed. The story, based on a true story which covers a period of two weeks, focuses on the question of the validity of right and wrong in the context of extreme circumstances. Above all, however, the story is about the friendship of two outsiders.
