Summer of 1987. Marina, Alex and Chico - childhood friends from a small fishing village - find dozens of cans floating in the Atlantic Ocean. The cans are stuffed with the strongest marijuana ever seen in Brazil, and are only a few of thousands more that wash ashore along the Brazilian coast, attracting throngs of stoners from the entire country. Faced with a once in lifetime chance of a better life, the three friends come up with a plan to cash in without dealing the dope directly, but their exceptional "luck" eventually draws the attention of local police officers and thugs. Things soon spiral out of control and the trio ends up putting their friendship and their lives on the line during a crazy "Summer High".
