The film "Swimming" tells the story of Elisa and Anthea, two very different girls whose friendship gives them support and orientation in a difficult phase of their lives. They become best friends and develop a game in which they capture everything they do with their cell phone cameras. Soon, they come up with the idea of turning the camera over and secretly filming their classmates who have done Elisa earlier. From their close friendship develops a destructive dynamic, which becomes threatening for anyone who gets in the way of the two. The girls become victims of the perpetrators.Elisa and Anthea are among the first generation to have grown up with the Internet, digital images and self-portrayal online. We watch them develop a bizarre friendship, play, search for adventures and cross borders. Actively participating in the flood of images, which today determines our daily lives, is essential for the girls. Therefore, their mobile videos flow into our film. The mix of materials creates an individual style - subjective, full of omissions and changes of perspective, close and unpolished.
