A veterinary surgeon played who suffers financial difficulties with the birth of his first child is persuaded by an old friend to join a gang of poachers who trap rare wild animals to order. During a night-time campfire discussion with his fellow poachers about the fate of their latest prey, the vet finally listens to his struggling conscience and suggests setting the animal free.
