Synopsis

Mark, 35, comes to in a strange house in a strange town, his face covered in blood. He doesn’t know where he is or what’s happened to him – he doesn’t even know if the blood on his face is his own… Blackout.
Mark suffers from periodic memory loss. He is forced to piece his life together from his sporadic periods of sobriety and full consciousness, and from artefacts he clutches onto which offer clues to his actions during the blackouts. Mark is trying to discover the mystery behind his daughter’s final moments. She died in a house fire, a fire that most maintain was caused by a cigarette that only he could have lit. He desperately searches for another cause and becomes fixated on the idea that a paedophile had set fire to the house to stop his secret coming out. He pursues this line of investigation in a confused and haphazard manner, tracking what he believes to be a convincing lead with terrible consequences…
