This is Jean's story – a six year old little boy. This year he will go in first grade, the big school! He will finally learn how to read. However, his teacher looks very strict. The first day, he has to tell her what his mother does for a living. He doesn't know the answer... But he wants to be like everyone else. His mummy is not here. Where, when, why, how, he forgot. This was long ago. So, he makes things up. However, she sends him postcards. America, Switzerland, Spain, Africa... that Michelle, his neighbor, is reading to him in secret.
