Professional debt collector Feili Mo (Deng Chao) crosses paths with brainy PhD student Xiadao Zha (Sun Li) when he nearly runs her over with his car. Unfortunately for wimpy and klutzy Xiadao, he’s a grumpy thug with a short fuse who blackmails her into working for him to pay off her debt.During a chance encounter at a psych guru’s clinic, Feili and Xiadao find themselves reluctantly paired up once again as part of a miracle self-help therapy program. Suddenly, they are partners in debt collecting, and their first target is the ruthlessly stingy Director Hua (Wang Yanhui ) – who turns out to be Xiadao’s former boss. As the unlikely duo swindles, steals and makes death-defying escapes, little do they know that the guru (Liang Chao) actually has more tricks up his sleeve than just quack psychotherapy!
