This film brings together top acting talent and reunites the leads in the Golden Bear award-winning Black Coal, Thin Ice, this time starring Gwei Lun-mei (Black Coal), Chen Kun (Mojin: The Lost legend) and Wang Jingchun (Black Coal). Meanwhile, the two children are portrayed by 15-year-old cellist Nana Ouyang (Beijing Love Story) and William Wang, son of Huayi Brothers’ founder Wang Zhonglei. When young, ambitious attorney Li Yuran (Gwei) finds herself in the afterlife following a terrible car accident, she is mistaken for another woman and is sent back to Earth for one week. At first she is horrified by her new life as a housewife with a strange architect husband (Chen) and two kids. Instead of facing tough corporate battles in court, she has domestic woes as a mother to two teenagers! Eventually she begins to care for her new family and falls in love with her new life. Unfortunately, as the week is coming to an end she will have to leave the beautiful different existence she has come to love.
