Following an accident, an astronaut (Deng) loses contact with mission control and finds himself alone in space. In the darkest hour of his life he recalls the lessons taught by his father. Reflecting on the past he remembers how his family were ostracised by neighbours for a crime they weren’t responsible for, betrayed by someone they trusted and bullied by local thugs. But, most of all, he recalls the father who always believed in him and turned him into a man.
