Self-absorbed Malaysian TV host Rafflesia Pong, whose TV programme discussing art is dying from worsening ratings, stumbles upon a golden opportunity to revive her career when her latest interviewee - an ex-boyfriend - dies in front of the camera. Eric Tan is a mild mannered, half-English corporate slave who, like Pong, works for the Fony Corporation. He labours to create the perfect Soy milk machine but is constantly assailed by unreasonable insults from his megalomaniacal bosses. He is also very much in love with Pong.
