Sofía made a lot of things in her life. She has form a nice family and given love to many people. Although she’s very old, she likes reading, shopping, cooking and meeting with her family and friends. She has anecdotes and advices for everyone. Now she’s turning 100 years old, her son and her grandchildren’s want to organize something special for her. Sofía has lived through very sad events: her father’s death in the 1944 San Juan’s earthquake; her son’s disappearance during the Military Dictatorship; her exile at the age of 67… in spite of all this things she could stay alive because of the love for her loving ones. We will cover the history of Argentina during the 20th century through Sofia’s personal history. The immigrants integration to the country, the social movements, the wars, the Dictatorship, the fight of the “Madres de Plaza de Mayo” (Sofía has been a member of them), the forced exile of many of Argentineans, the globalization, the actual political situation, subjects that will we told in a second level of importance but they will be part of the story. One hundred years of many happy things, and some sad ones. One hundred years in the life of a family and a country.
