Following a series of crop failures and suffering from the avarice of traders in Himachal Pradesh, a tiny family of 3, Rajkumar with his young wife and daughter, seeking a brighter future in the bright lights of Mumbai, flee their impoverished life in the fields of the northern Himachal. But the sweltering capital's bustling intensity quickly overwhelms them and they fall prey to the rampant manipulations of its hardened locals. He catches a lucky break when he's offered steady work for an armored truck company which provides security cover for monetary transfers of valuables and monies for individuals and companies around Mumbai who want to transfer high value material. He meets and befriends a senior security officer there Rajesh, who mentors him and takes him under his wing, warning him that his innocence is a lethal attraction for local thieves in the slums he’s staying in. It seems that Rajkumar’s life might be turning around. Soon, though, the reality of his work's mortality rate and the murky motives of those around him in this big city force Rajkumar to confront the perils he faces in his new job and life. Ultimately the journey that Rajkumar and his family takes comes full circle with the hope for a new beginning but with what sacrifice to purchase it
