Synopsis

LEO, a 11-year-old child, lives happy in a fishermen's neighborhood of the south of Senegal, until his father, OUSMANE, is chosen by his family to emigrate in a fishing-boat to Europe.
BEGO, a 32-year-old Spanish woman with the heart broken, has decided to flee of her previous life and to establish in Leo's settlement as voluntary. There, the lives of the woman and the child will cross when Bego decides to take charge of the medical clinic which is closed since a few weeks ago.
Bego is not medical and does not have money, but she feels that this one is her last chance and, possibly, the last chance too for many other persons who live under the order of Mamadou, the corrupt president of the fishermen's confraternity.
