Year of production : 2016 Director(s) : Sergey MOKRITSKIY Writer(s) : Aleksey BORODATCHIOV Cast : Aleksandr KOVTUNETS, Philippe REINHARDT, Yulia PERESILD, Andrey SMOLYAKOV, Boris KAMORZIN Producer(s) : Ulyana SAVELYEVA, Aleksandr KOVTUNETS
After the success of “Red Sniper”, Sergey Mokristky once again touches the history of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. This time, rather than putting emphasis on a heroic soldier, he presents to the audience a simple man, who adapts to the difficult circumstances of the War in the occupied territory. A village teacher Pavel Zubov – the main character of the film – teaches children everything he’s been instructed to by the new regime. He tries not to think if it’s right or wrong, but eventually he has to make a choice.
