Synopsis
One day, a university student Osamu, who had nothing to worry about, suddenly expelled from the collage. His father is missing, and finally he got an eviction from the apartment because of the non-payment of rent. He has nowhere to go, and only 10,000 yen in his wallet. From that day, he sleeps at 24-hour Net café and became a day labor. However the income he got was so little, so he decided to work at “host club” just for money. “Host club” is Japanese peculiar culture, and male companion entertain women by drinking alcohol and chatting. Osamu’s club is organized by group of gangsters, and he couldn’t run away from there no matter what he eager to. Chihiro, an ordinary girl working at hospital, is deeply addicted to Osamu and spend exorbitant money on club. One day, Osamu’s co-worker Jyunya is forced to pay 1 million yen that his best customer Rui is behind with as his tab. However she suddenly disappeared, so Osamu asked Chihiro to take over her debts. Few days later, Rui was found in the town, and club’s owner orders Osamu and Jyunya to sell her to the organization of human traffic. The three of them decided to run away from Tokyo and start over their life, but the thing is not going easy, and Osamu and Jyunya face to much more cruel real of society. On the other hand, Chihiro, the left behind, owns enormous debts and no one to rely on, so she helplessly starts to work in sex industry. Osamu and Chihiro, and other young people, at the mercy of money and social inequality, still they try to stand tall and look straight.
