Once upon a time there used to be an imaginary Belgium, during the 17th century. As the king died and she had to wait for her son’s age of majority, Queen Ana María is granted her reign regency. The moment has arrived! Finally a position which matches up to her temperament! She will bring some order and common sense as regards state matters. The great hall at the palace will be the stage where the Regent and the members of the Court will be face to face. Much work will be done due to General J.C. Van Damme’s (chief of all navies) eccentricities, Cardinal Carlos Rodriguez’s (her spiritual coach) pieces of advice, her son’s (Prince Felipe) school problems, the small repairs by the great representative of the people in Court, Knight Michel d'Ans, and the extravagant reasonings of Knight Dirk Frimout, an expert in science. The film also includes crazy situations and delirium freely inspired on our present times and miscellaneous events.
