A man follows a woman in his car. When she crosses the street, he accelerates and runs her over. The woman is dead, the man devastated. We learn that they are husband and wife and they were perfectly happy. But when their firstborn died, nothing suddenly seemed as it was: where she tried to be strong, he started seeing her strength as a denial of his grief, of his loss, of his very being.
