Raymond Sanz (Willem Dafoe) is a veteran industrial spy hired to monitor Mark (Pedro Pascal), an American businessman in an steamy coastal town in northern Brazil. At a lavish party Raymond meets Mark’s wife, the beautiful and exotic Lucia (Morena Baccarin). There is an immediate chemistry between them; however, things get more complicated the next day when Raymond encounters Lucia at the local market, only to discover that it’s actually her identical twin sister Lea (Baccarin). Sanz begins an affair with Lea, while also continuing to see Lucia. But when it is revealed that Lucia and Lea are the daughters of Simonetti, the mysterious tycoon who hired him to spy on Mark, Sanz realizes that his clandestine love affairs may come back to haunt him. And how can he be sure that the twins really are who they say they are? An erotic, Hitchcockian thriller where nothing is what it seems.
