As a prison letter examiner, ZAKIR’S (30) job is to black out objectionable content from the inmates’ incoming and outgoing mail. In his free time, he attends a course where pursues writing, his secret passion, and builds a social life. When the teacher asks the class to write a short story based on a photograph, Zakir steals one of the dozens found the inmates’ letters. That’s when the mundane life in the home he shares with his mother and the prison begins to change.
