Ray, a former cop recently released from prison, is hired by Mafia bosses Carlos and Vinnie, to be in charge of security at the hot strip club "House of the Rising Sun." One night, the strip club, also home to an illegal gambling hall, is robbed by a vicious gang. In an attempt to prevent bloodshed, Ray cooperates with the gang but something goes wrong and Carlos' son is killed in the process. Accusing Ray of possibly being an accomplice, the mob bosses put Ray in charge of finding out who is responsible or they will kill him. During the investigation, Ray teams up with his former girlfriend and mafia prostitute, Jenny, and must face many old friends and foes in order to find out who the culprits are before he is framed and sent back to prison or killed by the mob. As the search for the truth unfolds, Ray finds himself tangled in a power struggle and nothing is ever as it seems.
