RED DRESS SOLILOQUY(The full feature film screener is available on Vimeo by request)This newly completed USA/German co-production is a tragic love-story based on true event. It is also the first feature film to examine the disastrous aftermath the proliferation of guns in the United States has on an innocent family, long after the story of yet another child killed in a gun accident has been dropped from the news headlines. After moving to the USA from Europe to further both their careers - he a concert pianist and she a singer, the film chronicles the last 24 hours of their marriage months after their 7-year-old son was accidentally shot and killed by another 7-year-old child. The two boys were playing with a gun that had been mistakenly left in the house unbeknownst to the parents (Note: the film has one brief flashback to the day the boy was killed but he is never seen). This intimate look at a couple consumed by the "7 Stages Of Grief" is also very much a love-story, as the couple’s deep love for one another shines through the heartache - as humor and passion redeems them.
