Synopsis

Joaquin and David, lifelong friends in crisis, escape to the seaside of Mar del Plata to find perspective. While the pair attempts to relax and enjoy, they run into Elena, Joaquin’s ex-girlfriend who left him and broke his heart. She is now married to Lautaro, a pompous and outrageously successful novelist. Life in the mid-30s isn’t quite working out for them: Joaquin is likable, but fails at love and David is immature, but could have been brilliant. At the moment when they need a break from life to reflect and put things in perspective,
they realize it’s impossible to truly get away from oneself.
