French Basque country, 1609. The region’s men have gone to sea. One night, along with the other village girls, 20-year-old Amaia attends her first party in the woods. At dawn, the girls are arrested. Judge Pierre de Lancre has been summoned by Henri IV to purify the region and accuses the girls of witchcraft.
