Unfolding in a secluded Polish village, the film is a story of a scrapper and his girlfriend. The villagers and the couple live their usual dull lives of hardship until the scrapper vanishes. This triggers a chain of unexpected events. In the strikingly beautiful surroundings, human evil surfaces.
