There’s much excitement in Hopscotch’s home town, because it is nearly Christmas. All around houses are adorned with beautiful decorations. All, that is, except for one... Barbara has been so busy organising the Christmas party that she forgot all about the Christmas tree!Hopscotch takes charge and brings down the old artificial tree from the attic, and the friends gather round to inspect it. But when it falls apart they’re faced with a race against time to get a new one before their Christmas party begins!Should it be big, small, fat or thing? They hurry around town in search of the perfect tree, but shops start to close and night starts to fall and they still haven’t found a tree! In a moment of weakness, the friends start to panic, until Hopscotch remembers a key to being happy is looking at the same thing with fresh eyes. In the nick of time she finds a perfect, but unexpected solution right there under their noses. The old apple tree in the garden could be their Christmas Tree. Together they decorate the tree with sparkle and colour and everyone has a really happy time!
