Two years after a burn out, Duval, unemployed, is contacted by a mysterious employer to retranscribe tapped telephone calls. Without ever wondering about the organization employing him, Duval, in desperate straits, accepts the job. Although this simple work allows him to get back on his feet, it will nevertheless place him at the center of a political conspiracy, plunged, despite himself, into the brutality and strangeness of the underground world of the secret service.
