Lying on his deathbed, Ema tells her granddaughter Ana about her unknown grandfather, with whom she fell in love 40 years ago. He was a ventriloquist of the live show in the theater where she used to work. When she discovers the sick relationship he has with his doll, where reality and hallucination are mixed in a confusing world, Ema decides to flee. Even for the price of going through that world of madness, Clara, his daughter, decides to find her father.
