Portrait of Lee Moses, deep soul wonder forgotten by his hometown Atlanta. Lee Moses made one album and about thirty songs. Most of them were covers. He acquired the status of legend by deep soul record collectors and general music fans. Often compared to James Brown or Jimi Hendrix, his only album Time and Place, was recorded in New York came out in 1971. It was a commercial failure at the time and Lee Moses returned to his hometown without recording again. What happened to the man nicknamed the “Duke of Soul” ?
